Blue Plymouth Rock Pullets
The Blue Plymouth Rock chicken is a cross between a native Andalusian male and Plymouth Barred Rock female. The combination of two heritage breeds ensures vigor. Its blue-gray and lavender plumage make it an exceptionally attractive bird. These dual-purpose chickens are sweet, calm, and docile. Blue Plymouth Rock chickens are curious and always checking their surrounding environment. Although they do well when confined, they are happier free-ranging.
Prolific layers, Blue Plymouth Rocks can produce nearly 300 large to extra-large brown eggs per year.
Plymouth Rocks chicks will mature around 20 weeks and make great dual-purpose chickens. Hens will typically begin to lay eggs at 18-20 weeks.
