Light Brahmas

The Light Brahma is a very old breed of feather-footed chickens that originated from Asia.  Light Brahmas are exceptionally quiet, gentle, and easy to handle. Their small pea comb, great size, and heavy feathering make them almost immune to cold weather. Hens are good brown egg layers, especially in winter, are likely to set, and make good mothers to their young. Their docile, gentle, and quiet temperament makes them one of the best breeds around children. Hens lay about 200 medium-sized brown eggs annually, sometimes go broody, and are attentive mothers.
