Welsummer pullets
Welsummer hens are justly famous for their very dark terracotta brown eggs, which are often speckled or spotted. The hens have a nice disposition and do good in mixed flocks. They are also very good layers, with some hens laying up to 250 or more eggs a year. The Welsummer is a beautiful breed from Holland. Hens are a nicely proportioned partridge pattern, with hints of gold around the neck, medium brown on the body, and tail feathers tipped with a rich brown. Welsummers have incredibly charming personalities. Not only are they intelligent, but these are also docile and friendly birds, making great barnyard pets. hatched 10/14/20
